The King’s Daughters Union elected officers to the board of managers at its annual meeting:

Mrs. Doyle Wheeler, president; Mrs. Alan Boone, first vice president; Kristin Strong, second vice president; Mrs. Stuart Bremner, secretary; Mrs. Eugene Canty, treasurer; Linda Allen, assistant treasurer; Mrs. Robert Smith, member-at-large. Advisory Committee members are Clarissa Edelston, Lynn Bowden, and Charles Brantner. Auditor is Edward Connor.

The King’s Daughters Union was begin in 1891 to provide a Christian boarding home for women coming to Bangor. The home has served women since 1905 at 89 Ohio St.
