CARIBOU — The following cases were among those processed March 29-April 9 in 1st District Court in Caribou by Judge Ronald Daigle:

Charged with assault were: John W. Hafford Jr., 25, Presque Isle, $100; William J. Sullivan, 30, Caribou, $100; and Dana W. Burns, 25, Limestone, three days in jail. Burns also was charged with disorderly conduct, $200.

Charged with negotiating a worthless instrument were: Charles R. Isaac, 36, Caribou, $100; Teresa J. Powell, 19, Caribou, $200, $600 restitution; and Scott D. Long, 20, Caribou, $100, $150 restitution.

Charged with operating a motor vehicle after license suspension were: Gerrit H. Bos, 51, Grand Falls, New Brunswick, $100; and Brenda L. Wilcox, 30, Caribou, $250.

Charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer were: Joseph O. McDougal, 26, Caribou, $200, $62.50 restitution; Grace K. Hersey, 34, New Denmark, New Brunswick, $100; and Douglas M. Jencks, 21, Caribou, 10 days in jail, $600 restitution.

Charged with illegal transportation of liquor by a minor, $100 fine each, were: Marcy L. Liotonne, 20, Caribou, 20-day license suspension; Christopher M. Soucier, 19, Caribou, 20-day license suspension. Soucier also was charged with illegal possession of drug paraphernalia, $100.

John M. Sutherland, 22, Fort Fairfield, operating motor vehicle while under influence of intoxicating liquor, $750, six months in jail, all but 30 days suspended, one year probation, two-year license suspension.

Matthew M. Wilcox, 18, Caribou, two counts harassment, two days in jail on each count; false public alarm or report, two days in jail; terrorizing, 60 days in jail with all but two days suspended, one year probation; and operating without license, $75. Jail sentences are to be served concurrently.

Randy D. Swafford, 30, Washburn, assault while hunting, 90-day jail sentence suspended, one year probation, 100 hours community service.

Daniel J. Bouchard, 18, Caribou, two counts of violation of condition of release, seven days in jail on one charge, $100 fine on second charge.

Douglas K. Hafford, 30, Millinocket, driving to endanger, $300, 30-day license suspension.

William S. Jenkins, 29, failure to stop for officer, $200, 30-day license suspension.

Lawrence I. Pelkey Jr., 31, Caribou, leaving scene of property damage accident, $150; false public alarm or report, $150.

Christian Sorenson, 31, Caribou, criminal trespass, $100.

James B. Lowell, 25, Caribou, violation of protection from abuse, $100.
