DAVID TOZIER has been promoted from branch manager to vice president at the Dexter Regional Federal Credit Union. Tozier joined the organization in 1988 as head teller. He earned an associate’s degree in business management at Bangor Community College.

The Comfort Inns of Portland and Bangor have hired MARIE HEGARTY to serve as director of sales for both properties. In her new job, Hegarty will report to Jim Rochleau, general manager of the Portland inn and Nicholas Pancoast, general manager in Bangor.

PATRICK WEILER has been appointed branch manager and divisional vice president at the PaineWebber office in Bangor. Weiler is a graduate of the University of Vermont, where he studied economics and political science. He most recently served as assistant branch manager of the PaineWebber office in Portland.

Union Trust Co. of Ellsworth has hired PETER ALLEN BLYBERG to serve as executive vice president. Blyberg’s responsibities will include overseeing all operations, loans and branches. Before moving to Union Trust, he was chief of staff for cash management at Chemical Bank in New York. A graduate of Georgetown, ordham and George Washington universities, Blyberg has been involved in banking and commerce for 25 years.
