SKOWHEGAN – Jack Cochran pitched five innings of shutout ball to notch the win and lead Skowhegan to an 8-2 American Legion baseball victory over Penquis here Tuesday.

For the 1-0 Log Drivers, Garrett Quinn and Corey Hight each doubled and singled.

Eric Kepple singled twice for 0-1 Penquis.
