Sixteen teams from four counties will take part in the Maine State Pool League’s first state tournament running from Friday through Sunday at Miami North Entertainment Complex on Broadway in Bangor.

Following the regular season, with 350 individuals taking part on 22 teams for 30 weeks, a prize fund of $5,000 has been established for the tourney. First-place winner will collect $2,000, second $1,500; third $1,000, and fourth $500.

Action starts Friday night at 7 p.m.

Here is the tourney field: Oasis Sharks and Running Rebels of Fort Fairfield; Lincoln Aces, Lincoln 5 and Patchwork of Lincoln; A & S Motors and Econo TV & Video of Milford; Lowballs and Hawkeyes of Lubec; Cutler Scrubs of Columbia Falls; Eastport; and from Lewiston, Shark Hunters, Sharpshooters, Don’s Daredevils, and Head Hunters.
