BRADLEY — The Planning Board is working on a new Land Use Ordinance and hopes to present a final version to the Town Council after a few more meetings, said Chairman Linda Hardesty.

Bradley has a state-approved shoreland zoning ordinance, she said, but other than requiring building and plumbing permits, it has no other ordinances.

The board has been collecting information about land use ordinances from different towns in the area. Code Enforcement Officer Phillip Whitt has been assisting the board in coming up with the new ordinance, said the chairman.

After the council formally accepts the ordinance, it will go before the community in a public hearing.
