CAMDEN — Guitarist Martin Gibson will perform 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, at Laite Beach Park on Bayview Street in Camden. Gibson’s performance is part of the Camden Parks and Recreation Department’s “Wednesday in the Park” series. All performances are free and open to the public.
Gibson is a native of the Midwest who has lived in Maine since 1980. A composer, performer and teacher of guitar in classical, folk, jazz, ragtime and blues styles, he has performed in concert at coffee houses, festivals, public radio and television settings, colleges and public schools throughout New England and the Midwest.
His performances include a variety of styles and song topics. He welcomes audience participation and any questions about guitar and songwriting.
