Bangor defeats Brewer in AL play

Mark Reed tripled and singled to help lead Bangor to a 6-5 American Legion baseball win over Brewer at Garland Street Field in Bangor Thursday.

For 11-8 Bangor, Roy Peary came on in relief in the fifth to get the win. Tony Fernandez tripled.

Tim Hodgins doubled and singled for an RBI, and Jason Orcutt had two singles and an RBI for 12-6 Brewer.
