SCARBOROUGH – The 15th annual Maine Association of U.S.A. Track and Field Masters Championship will be held at Scarborough High School July 31 at 12 noon. Events will be contested in six age groups, and male and female athletes age 25 and older are welcome.
Weights in the throwing events and the height of the hurdles will be appropriate to the age group, and any event for which a contestant appears will be held. Wheelchair events will also be held in any event in which a wheelchair athlete is entered.
Age groups will be: Pre-Masters (25-29 years), Junior Masters (30-39), Masters Division I (40-49), Masters Division II (50-59), Masters Division III (60-69) and Masters Division IV (70 and older).
Entry fee will be $5, and TAC membership is required. For more information, call meet director Ron Kelly at 883-2747.
