Two road races are on tap for this weekend with the 16th annual Hancock Lobster Classic Saturday and the second annual Bangor State Fair Road Race Sunday.

On Saturday, the TAC-certified, 10-mile Lobster Classic will start at the Hancock Town Hall at 9 a.m. A 2 1/2- and five-mile children’s race will also be run at 9:05 a.m.

Registration is from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. Entry is $8 for the 10-mile race and $4 for the children’s races. This is the fifth race in the Bangor Daily News Charities series.

On Sunday, registration for the four-mile Bangor State Fair Race begins at 8 a.m. and continues until 8:45 a.m. at the grandstand. Entry is $8 per person.

The race begins at 9 a.m. at the Bass Park race track. Seven age divisions for men and women are offered.
