City post office expands hours

The U.S. Postal Service will expand the hours at the retail service window at the Bangor Post Office on Harlow Street beginning Monday, Aug. 16. The new window hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 7:30 a.m. to noon Saturday.

“The Postal Service is working to understand and meet the needs of our customers,” said Postmaster Steve Hathaway. “We are striving to improve customer satisfaction and provide quality products and services. Adjusting our window service hours to meet customer needs is another example of our commitment to customer service.”
