Sawyer Environmental Services has announced the appointment of PATRICK J. STRAUCH as general manager of the company’s collection and transportation operations. An experienced environmental scientist, Strauch previously held managerial positions in resource conservation, management and forestry.

TINA M. WYMAN has been named assistant administrator at Dr. Ellen Howard’s Chiropractic Care centers in Brewer and Lincoln. Wyman has been employed at the Brewer center since 1989. She has served as bookkeeper, accounts supervisor, claims manager, certified chiropractic assistant, computer advisor and office manager.

KIM JOHNSON, a recent graduate of Bangor Savings Bank’s management training program, has been named branch assistant at the bank’s Hogan Road office in the Maine Square Mall in Bangor. Johnson is a graduate of Piscataquis Community High School and received a bachelor’s degree from Thomas College in Waterville. She joined the bank last year.

Bangor Mental Health Institute has promoted MARY LOUISE McEWEN to director of nursing. She has worked for the organization since 1987. McEwen most recently served as director of nursing quality improvement. She is also a chief nurse for the Maine National Guard. She earned a bachelor’s degree at Salem State and a master’s degree at the University of Maine.
