CAMDEN — Mary Ellen Ross will teach “How to Make a Dried Flower Wreath from Fresh Flowers and Herbs” at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at Merry Gardens, Upper Mechanic Street.
Participants will gather whatever materials they wish to use in the gardens, including straw flowers of all kinds, artemesia, oregano, statice, gomphrena and many others. The wreaths will be put together at the workshop and then taken home to dry.
Ross has been making wreaths of all kinds for over 40 years. She has taught workshops and classes in all aspects of horticulture.
