Former University of Maine three-time All-American winger Jean-Yves Roy was one of 25 players sent to Binghamton of the American Hockey League by the New York Rangers Wednesday. Roy, the school’s career goal-scoring leader with 108, passed up his senior year to sign with the Rangers. Roy had 13 goals and 15 assists in 49 games for Binghamton last year.
