ROCKLAND — Knox County Superior Court released the identity of a secret indictment handed up by a grand jury 10 days ago.

Kenneth L. Bailey Jr., 38, of Phippsburg was indicted on a charge of negotiating a worthless instrument. Bailey was charged with cashing 10 worthless checks in January in Knox County. The total value of the checks was placed at between $1,000 and $5,000.
