CHERRYFIELD — Any woman in Washington or Hancock County who is interested in exploring ways to make positive personal changes can benefit from Growing Together: Skills for Personal and Community Effectiveness.
The Growing Together group will meet from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, at the Down East Resource Conservation & Development Building on Route 182 in Cherryfield.
Sponsored by the Washington County Cooperative Extension, the series of workshops is part of a W.K. Kellogg grant to enhance rural leadership. Participants will focus on setting goals, building support and managing conflict. Three Continuing Education units will be offered to those who complete the training.
