FRENCHVILLE — The Maine Department of Transportation will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at the Frenchville Community Center, on a plan to rebuild part of U.S. Route 1 in Frenchville.

The project will begin about 1,000 feet west of Scott Street and extend east nearly 1 1/2 miles, ending about 900 feet east of Route 162.
