St. Joe’s women outkick USM

College soccer

STANDISH – Cindy Kamszik scored a pair of goals and goalie Karen Rogers made seven saves, carrying St. Joseph’s College to a 5-1 win over the University of Southern Maine in women’s college soccer action here Tuesday.

Neile Joler, Jen Sparrow, and Katye Mattson also scored goals for St. Joe’s (11-3-2). Rogers faced 12 shots.

For USM (2-15-1), Alison Gagnon scored unassisted. Goalie Jen Poliquin made 11 saves, facing 26 shots.
