Students from Husson College visited residents during their Halloween party Friday, Oct. 29.

On Sunday, Oct. 31, trick or treat activities were held for our residents as well as a number of children.

Sunday services in October were provided by the Church of God, West Hampden Baptist Church, First Apostolic Church, and Pilgrim Orthodox Presbyterian Church.

Bangor Nursing Facility

Beverly Winchester is now acting social worker.

Tina Dorr is acting activities director.

New Residents are Ernestine Parsons and Mildred Summers.

A big thank you to friends and neighbors who participated in the raffle. The drawing was Nov. 5. Winners were Dick Cyr, necklace; Loretta Kerns, coat, and Jesse McGregor, afghan.

The men are the bowling champions this week.

On Nov. 5 the Hardly Able band entertained.

On Nov. 8 Clyde Rogers furnished piano music.

On Nov. 12 Dwayne Nickerson and George Harnish furnished entertainment for the November birthday party.

There will be arts and crafts on Thursdays.

Brewer Rehab & Living Center

Our family night supper will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9. Entertainment will follow in Tanglewood’s Day- room. Those wishing to attend should aquire soon to the Activities Office, 989-7300 ext. 20, before Dec. 6.

The Highway Troubadors performed a magic show on Friday, Nov. 5.

Several residents dined at the Harborside Restaurant on Tuesday, Nov. 9, to enjoy their many seafood entrees.

Monday, Nov. 1, the Cookettes baked a Hawaiian coffee cake and then Circle K came in for an afternoon of bowling.

Wednesday, Nov. 3, AM News was followed by a work out at Tip Top Shape. In the afternoon, Beano drew a lively crowd and later in the evening, the Renew Group came in to share their faith with the residents.

Thursday evening, Nov. 4, the Friendship Group came in to show a movie on the big screen T.V.

Friday, Nov. 5, residents enjoyed ONH Cinema’a showing of the classic “The Bells of Saint Mary” in the morning. Lillian Poirier celebrated her 72nd birthday at a party with many friends and family.

Sunday, Nov. 7, The Church of the Good Shepherd provided this Sunday’s services. In the evening residents enjoyed a hymn sing-a-long.
