Dr. James Benjamin Jr., M.D., a Presque Isle physician, is a man of integrity and scholarly ability.
I was in the Presque Isle hospital for almost three months last spring, and Dr. Benjamin was available for my medical needs. He visited me sometimes twice a day (I was in ICU twice) and at least every other day as I was recuperating.
One morning the nurse said to me, “Mrs. Mahaney, did you know that Dr. Benjamin was in here at 2 o’clock this morning for a period of time observing you?” I told her no. He was concerned that I was alone since my immediate family are all living away.
Dr. Benjamin has shown so much compassion for people. I don’t mind waiting beyond my scheduled visit because I know he is taking time with another patient.
Dr. Benjamin is a very personable man and definitely a gentleman. He is a valuable asset to this community.
Why is a man of such stature being so brutally chastised and harassed? Marcia Mahaney Jean G. White Mars Hill
