Center Drive School

All students will participate in a Geography Bee on Jan. 5. The school winner will take a written test to qualify for the state bee.

The PTG has been active in fund raising for our school. They presented the school with gifts that were requested by faculty and the administration. The gifts included a VCR, pillows for reading classes, duffel bags for Maine studies, adding machine for the office, and stopwatches for physical education. Special appreciation to Rose Black for all her efforts and many hours of work.

Pam Booker and Charleen Bunker assisted in the grant writing with Jessica Harrington. The grant writing continued on Dec. 22 with Doris Ray from the Maine Center of Educational Services, Carol Weeks and Pat Herrick from Noble Middle School in Berwick, and Jessica Harrington and James White from Center Drive School. Representatives from Fort Kent and St. Agatha were not able to attend due to inclement weather.

Holiday activities on Dec. 22 were enjoyed by all. School will resume on Jan. 3. Happy vacation.
