Outlook: St. Bonaventure is a veteran team that features four returning starters and 10 letterwinners. Coach Marti Whitmore’s Bonnies have four players averaging double figures and have scored almost 82 points per game on 48-percent floor shooting and 73-percent accuracy from the foul line. St. Bonny’s also boasts plenty of depth, as only three players have averaged more than 20 minutes per game, while eight have played at least 16 minutes. Maine will need a better shooting performance than its 28-percent effort in Tuesday’s loss to Buffalo. To put the Bonnies in perspective, they beat Niagara 71-69 this season while Buffalo, Maine’s Tuesday opponent, lost to Niagara 77-61.
