ORONO – Junior center Aaron Boone scored his 13th and 14th goals of the season and added a pair of assists on goals by linemate Scott Corey as the Brewer High School Witches beat Foxcroft Academy 5-1 in a schoolboy hockey game at the Alfond Arena here Wednesday night.

Darren Beers scored the other goal for the Witches, 6-1, and goalie Shawn Murphy made 18 saves.

Jamie Jordan and Dick Orton had assists for the Ponies, 1-4, and B.J. Costa made 46 saves.

Stearns 10, Lawrence 4

At Alfond Arena in Orono, Jesse McEwen scored two goals and assisted on another to lead the Minuteman deluge.

Frank Bowley and Matt MacDonald scored two goals apiece for 5-2 Stearns, while Josh Lynch and Jeremy Beaupain had a goal and two assists each. Jeremy Munoz made 10 saves in goal.

Nick Fortin and Sam Rodreryek each scored a goal and had an assist for 0-6 Lawrence. Marc Bolduc and Chris Vigue scored the other goals.
