DEXTER – Russell Seawood hit four 3-pointers and scored 17 points as the Maine Central Institute Huskies of Pittsfield won their first game, a 61-59 boys basketball verdict over a tough Dexter squad Thursday.
Chuck Graham added 11 points for the winners.
Josh Wintle scored 18 and grabbed nine boards for Dexter, while Matt Haskell had 13 and Josh Kimball tossed in 10.

Toby Newbegin added 20 points to the winning effort while Brett Doody chipped in with 17 points.
The Vikings outscored Brewer 11-2 from the foul line. Caribou went to the stripe 16 times while Brewer only got three attempts.
