“Calico Pie,” a series of 30-minute programs designed to help childcare providers create learning activities for children ages 3 to 5, will begin airing at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, on Maine Public Television.

“Calico Pie” is a 16-week series that will air once a week, on Friday afternoons. At the conclusion of the series, Maine Public Television will hold a workshop from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 30, in many different locations around the state.

Workshop participants will receive guidance on how to create activities for young children. To participate, childcare providers should view all 16 weeks of the series.
