UMF women run past Green Mt.

FARMINGTON – Dawn Ann Higgins tossed in 14 points and Kim Bennett hit for 11 more to carry the University of Maine-Farmington to a 62-42 win over Green Mountain College of Poultney, Vt., in women’s college basketball action here Friday.

Nicole Fraser added 10 points for UMF.

For Green Mountain, Julie Littlefield was high scorer with 10 points.
