LEE – Jessica Walker scored 18 points to lead three Warriors in double figures, as Southern Aroostook turned back Lee Academy 58-38 and remained undefeated.

Jill Mathers netted 14 for the 10-0 winners, while Janet Corneil had 13.

Regina Rice led the Pandas with 12 points. Heidi Osgood added 11.

Beal scored 17 points and had 10 rebounds, while Carver had 10 points and eight boards for the winners.

At Guilford, PCHS utilized tough defense on Greenville’s Jen Searles, limiting her to two points in the second quarter, leading to the victory.

Karla Burdin scored eight of her game-high 24 points in the decisive second quarter while grabbing 10 rebounds, and teammate Jen Moore added 17 points and 12 rebounds.

Maren Muzzy paced Greenville with 15 points, and Searles and Chesley Ryder added 11 points apiece.

At the Bangor Auditorium, John Bapst withstood a fourth-quarter Rockland rally to pick up the victory.

Rena Lolar lead the Crusaders with 15 points, while Becky Goggins chipped in with 13 points.

Jenny Bosica scored 12 of her 20 points in the fourth quarter as Rockland outscored John Bapst 13-4 in the fourth. Susan Ware contributed 11 points.

At Van Buren, Peter Dolinsky came off the bench to score 10 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter which proved to be the margin of victory for Van Buren.

Dolinsky, who battled foul trouble through the fourth quarter, added 13 rebounds for the Crusaders. Three other players scored in double figures for Van Buren were Travis Vaillancourt, 11; Ryan Beaulieu, 10; and Cory Poitras, 13.

John Clavette lead Madawaska with 29 points, including four 3-pointers, and Ed Marshall added 12.
