At Farmington, Bill Tanguay scored his only points of the game with seven seconds remaining to give the University of Maine-Machias Clippers the victory over the UM-Farmington Beavers.

Tanguay nailed two free throws to put his team up 71-67 and then UMF’s Dan Legage hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer. It was Legage’s sixth 3-pointer of the game.

Barry Shrambam paced the Clippers with 23 points while J.R. Chapman and Antoine Morin each put in 12. UMM battled back from an 18-2 deficit at the start of the game.

Legage scored 24 points for UMF, Rob Morin put in 15, and Troy Norton netted 12.
