BELFAST — The following cases were heard before Justice Andrew Mead in Waldo County Superior Court on Wednesday:

Robert W. Dyer, 70, of Belfast received a pair of concurrent 18-month jail sentences with all but four months suspended and two years’ probation after pleading guilty to two counts of terrorizing with a dangerous weapon. Dyer was charged following a confrontation outside his home with Robert Bryant, a neighbor, and Belfast Police Officer John Gibbs during which he brandished a 12-gauge shotgun.

Mead ordered a presentence investigation into the background of Ellie Ellsworth, 23, of Belfast after she pleaded guilty to gross sexual assault.
