WESTBROOK – A men’s team from the Bangor-Brewer Bowling Lanes captured the Maine Open team tourney at the the Colonial Lanes here over the weekend.
Randy Perry, James Milan, and Chip Carson rolled up a 10-string score of 1,963 to take first place. The team of Mark Smith, Matt Rich, and Tim Matero of Oxford Hills Bowling Center in South Paris placed second with a 1,900.
Priscilla Lewis, Alice Crochere, and Mona Lewis of the Lucky Strike Lanes in Gardiner combined to capture the women’s team title with a total of 1,604. Chris Shaw, Joan Peters, and Sue Crawford of the B-B Lanes placed second with a 1,585.
