RANDOLPH, Mass. – Bowdoin College senior strong safety Mike Turmelle was awarded the small college Nils B Nelson Scholar-Athlete Award by the Gridiron Club of Greater Boston here Wednesday, March 9.

The award is presented annually to a New England football player who has excelled on the field and in the classroom.
