Youth are normal

Once again, I feel someone needs to speak up for the youth of today who go by the rules, don’t drink, don’t take dope or use sex as a growing process. They are not the lost few as it seems when you read the papers and watch TV.

You read the paper and assume most of the youth are trying all these things and I don’t believe that’s true.

We need to build up our normal youth of today so please, everyone, when you can, let it be known how glad you are that we do have more great kids around than we give them credit for. Help those who need it; yes, these kids are changing their lives, but let’s not forget those who don’t need to change. Give them praise. Mary Rustin Milford
