PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – Ralph Nason avenged a bit of hard luck from a year ago to win Sunday’s Egglefield Ford Spring Green, an American Canadian Tour feature race, here.
The 54-year-old Nason took the lead on the 62nd lap of the 150-lap event and held off the challenges of five other drivers.
“I’m surprised I had enough car left to win this game,” said Nason. “I had to really run the wheels off my car.”
Bill Zardo Sr. of Brampton, Ontario, was second while Beaver Dragon of Milton, Vt., was third.
