Clare Payne has announced she will seek election to the Holden Board of Selectman on June 14.

She is a partner at Eaton, Peabody, Bradford & Veague and has been active in the community. She is first vice president, Abnaki Girl Scout Council; a member of the 4-H Pine Tree Foundation board of trustees; a member of the Maine Bar Examiners; and chairman of the Horse Show Committee of her local horse club.

Past activities include YMCA Policy Committee; St. John’s Episcopal Church clerk.
