Wake up, BDN and Al Diamon! When are you and the Republican nominees going to get it?

Favoring the birth of full-term children does not make one a social fundamentalist or religious fanatic. Without life, the issues of economics, health care and welfare reform become moot points.

Even President Clinton, in his remarks following Mother Teresa of Calcutta’s Feb. 3 speech in Washington, acknowledged Mother Teresa was beyond criticism. And what did she say? “If we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill each other. … Many people are also concerned about all the violence in this great country of the United States. These concerns are very good. But often these same people are not concerned with the millions who are being killed by the deliberate decision of their own mothers. And this is what is the greatest destroyer of peace today — abortion, which brings people to such blindness.” …

Women’s rights are not in conflict with their own children’s rights. The appearance of such a conflict is a sign that something is wrong with our society. Mary Rose Pray Addison
