ORONO – The Old Town-Orono Twins erupted for 13 runs in the fifth inning en route to a 15-5 American Legion baseball victory over the Skowhegan Log Drivers at the Orono High field Monday night.
The Twins sent 17 men to the plate in the fifth inning and used a combination of nine hits and five errors to score the 13.
Andy Trice and Ronnie Coombs each doubled and singled for OT-O and Adam Stinson singled twice for two RBIs. Charlie Hite added two singles and Chris Hashey slammed a two-run triple.
Corey Hight doubled twice and drove in a run for Skowhegan and Nate Jewell had an RBI double.

At Heddericg Field in Brewer, Jason Dority stroked a pair of singles to lead the undefeated Falcons past Calais.
Ben Jenkins added a single and knocked in two runs for Brewer. Tiger Stewart picked up the win on the hill.
Elliot Peabody ripped three singles and drove in a run for Calais. Nate Martell addd a double and two singles and had two RBIs, while Brian Chamberlain had a pair of singles.
