Bangor West and Bucksport each rolled to convincing victories in District 3 Little League All-Star action on Friday.
Bangor West stopped Hampden 7-1 and Bucksport blanked Brewer 5-0.
Bangor West and Bucksport advanced to the winners bracket where they will clash on Tuesday.
Brewer and Hampden moved to Monday’s losers bracket where Brewer will play Coastal while Hampden will battle Bangor East.

At Bucksport, Craig Harvey’s 15 strikeouts helped secure the Bucksport win.
Harvey pitched a three-hit shutout, and was aided by an RBI single from Ricky McHale.
For Brewer, Ryan Snell, Mark Pinkham, and Joey Griffin all had singles.
Harvey had the other Bucksport hit, a double, and scored.

At the Bangor West field, Barrett Dionne fired a one-hitter, striking out 13 and walking just one, and aided his own cause with a pair of run-scoring doubles.
Dionne’s double and an RBI single by Mike Dube in the fourth inning extended Bangor’s lead to 3-0 and Bangor added four more in the fifth with Dionne’s double and Dan Martin’s RBI single keying the rally.
Justin Libbey had two base hits for the winners while Hampden received a one-out single from Justin Hatch in the third inning for its only hit.
