ORONO — Town officials and employees will hold a reception from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, for retiring assessor Stanley Borodko.

Borodko has served as the town’s assessor for 22 1/2 years. Residents are welcome to stop by the town office and wish him well in his retirement.
