EAST CORINTH – Longtime soccer official Pedro Quint has been nominated as the next boys soccer coach at Central High School here.

Quint will replaces Andy Frace as the head coach of the Red Devils. According to athletic director Mike Hatch, Quint will be recommended to the schoolboard at its next meeting.

Quint, who formerly coached at Hampden Academy, will unofficially head the team, which reports Monday for its first practice, until his approval later this month.
