Enlightened in Orono

The librarians at the Orono Public Library are certainly a cut above the fine fellows from the Maine Department of Transportation who last year hosed the swallow nests, babies and all, off the ferry landing at Lincolnville Beach. It’s somewhat heartening to find out that the DOT’s action was not only brutal and stupid but illegal as well!
