Now that Clinton’s crime bill has passed, how much more will it take before we the people refuse to let Congress violate our constitutional rights? You have the right to self-defense, defense of country and protection against tyranny. Your right to keep and bear arms has been recognized as the hallmark and meaning of the Second Amendment as understood by those who authored it.

It has just as much relevance today as when it was written more than 200 years ago. Maybe it is time Congress decided to fight crime rather than its honest citizens; fear the government that fears its people. Tony Danforth East Machias
