GREENFIELD — The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a series of burglaries to camps along Pickerel Pond Road in Greenfield.

Investigators said 14 camp break-ins have occurred in the area during the past week. Items such as radios, tape players and a large amount of liquor valued at several hundred dollars have been taken.
