HODGDON — The SAD 70 board at its meeting Monday night ratified a three-year contract with district bus drivers.

The drivers, who are represented by the Teamsters, will receive a 3 percent raise in the first year of the contract and a 4 percent raise in the second and third years.

Last month, the district’s teachers accepted a one-year contract that increases the base salary $150 to $18,150, and increases the insurance allowance by $20.

Also Monday night, Bernadette Willette of Linneus was hired as the district director for the gifted and talented program. Regina McCombs of New Jersey was hired as the new district librarian. She is a recent graduate of St. Johns University and holds a master’s degree in library science.
