UM-Farmington ties MMA booters

CASTINE – Jamie Deaudoin’s tying goal with just under 3 minutes left in the game proved to be the last for the University of Maine-Farmington which tied Maine Maritime 3-3 here Thursday.

Brian Long and Todd Drinkwater also scored for 7-3-1 UMF. Gary Mandrin recorded an assist.

B.C. Voyou had a hat trick for Maine Maritime, now 10-4-1. He was assisted twice by Garrett Lappin and once by Paul Kenney.

Dan Finnen made six saves on 12 shots in net for UMF.

For Maine Martime, goalie Mark Thibideau stopped seven of the 24 shots he faced.

Women’s Soccer

St. Joseph’s 3, Husson 0

At Bangor, Diana Murphy, Denise Hudson, and Sharon Paradis scored to help St. Joseph’s College shut out Husson. Neile Joler recorded an assist for St. Joseph’s.

For 1-10 Husson, ‘keeper Sherri Sanna made 10 saves on 19 shots.

Karen Rogers saved all four shots she faced in goal for St. Joseph’s.
