JONESBORO — Rep. Theone Look, R-Jonesboro, has received the endorsements of the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine and the Maine Bankers Association.

A current legislator with many years of experience in local, county and state government as well as 50 years of experience in business, is a corporator of the Machias Savings Bank. Her voting record on business affairs has earned her recognition from the bankers association.

Commenting on her recognition by the SAM organization, she said, “I grew up in a typical Down East family where the fathers and grandfathers, uncles and sons were avid sportsmen. We always looked forward to the hunting and fishing seasons and greatly valued the `Great Outdoors’ for the benefits it provided to all.”

She said the SAM group has always worked to enhance the quality of wild lands and lakes. “In this election, the referendum question on the enhancement of our natural resources through the construction of our fish hatcheries is another way for everyone to help the quality of Maine’s outdoors,” she said.
