Golf course damage brings 3 indictments

BANGOR — Three Bangor men were indicted by a Penobscot County grand jury Monday for their alleged involvement in a vandalism spree at Bangor Municipal Golf Course and burglaries at a Bangor party store and a restaurant.

Donald Braley, 19, was arrested last Friday and investigators presented the case to the grand jury Monday. Braley was charged with two counts of burglary and theft.

Donald Braley’s brother, Dale Braley, 21, was charged with aggravated criminal mischief and burglary. A third man, Thomas Platt, 25, of Bangor, was charged with two counts of burglary, theft, and aggravated criminal mischief.

Also indicted Monday were:

Paul Allard, 19, Levant, burglary and theft.

Lee Badger, 24, Veazie, burglary and theft.

Philip Badger, 24, Veazie, burglary and theft.

David Bossie, 45, Brewer, burglary and theft.

Brent Davis, 23, Lincoln, possession of a firearm by a felon, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, and possessing a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle.

Frank Francis, 30, Bangor, aggravated assault, assault, violation of condition of release and terrorizing.

William Green, 33, Winterport, operating a motor vehicle after revocation of driver’s license and failure to give correct name to an officer.

Edward Hart, 43, Bangor, three counts of unlawful sexual contact.

John Hill, 54, Bangor, unlawful sexual contact.

Bradley K. Irvine, 27, Bangor, operating a motor vehicle after revocation of driver’s license and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor.

Dennis Jenkins, 35, Carmel, two counts of gross sexual assault.

John J. Love Jr., 39, Indian Island, burglary and theft.

Ross Lowry, 48, unknown address, ancillary theft of services.

Stephen McDonald, 20, Old Town, burglary.

Ralph McPherson, 45, Bangor, unlawful trafficking in Schedule W drugs.

Robert K. Modery, 23, Old Town, eluding police officer, operating motor vehicle while under influence of intoxicating liquor, failure to stop for officer, exceeding speed limit by more than 30 mph.

Scott R. Moore, 26, Bangor, burglary and theft.

Robert Morrarty Jr., 22, Patten, theft.

Henry Murdoch, 29, Dexter, two counts criminal threatening with dangerous weapon.

William Patchell, 17, Hampden, eluding police officer, failure to stop for officer, exceeding speed limit by more than 30 mph, driving to endanger, operating motor vehicle without a driver’s license, two counts unauthorized use of property.

Joseph Pepe, 27, transient, burglary to motor vehicle, theft.

James Raymond, 37, Fairfield, aggravated operating motor vehicle while under influence of intoxicating liquor.

Archie Ruest, 22, Old Town, robbery, ancillary theft.

Daniel Soucy, 28, Lincoln, ancillary assault, three counts of violating protection-from-abuse order.

Michael L. Spencer, 26, Milo, operating motor vehicle after revocation of driver’s license.

Claude Tozier, 41, Hartland, operating motor vehicle after revocation of driver’s license.

Sherwood K. Williams, 33, Lee, possession of firearm by a felon.
