Alley gives Stearns edge against Bapst

MILLINOCKET – Jen Alley scored with 30 seconds left in the game to put Stearns ahead to stay in the host Minutemen’s 29-28 schoolgirl basketball victory over John Bapst of Bangor on Thursday night.

Cara Moir led the Minutemen with 11 points, and Rachelle Cummings added 10.

For John Bapst of Bangor, Becky Goggins had 10 points.
