PRESQUE ISLE — A free sibling preparation program will be offered at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, at Gould Memorial Hospital. The program will provide suggestions for preparing for a new family member, with a curriculum focused on information for children ages 2 to 7.

PRESQUE ISLE — A free sibling preparation program will be offered at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, at Gould Memorial Hospital.

The program will provide suggestions for preparing for a new family member, with a curriculum focused on information for children ages 2 to 7.

Information on reducing sibling anxiety and rivalry, increasing positive feelings toward the newborn, and assisting a child in recognizing and expressing his or her feelings will be explored. Children will be given a graduation certificate after the program. Families may register by calling The Aroostook Medical Center’s educational services department at 768-4160.
