ROCKLAND — The annual awards dinner of the Rockland-Thomaston Area Chamber of Commerce will be held Thursday, Jan. 26, at the Samoset Resort.
According to event organizers, it will be a fun-filled and informative evening with socializing, review of 1994 and challenges for 1995, awards, entertainment and prizes. The Chamber’s “Person of the Year” will be announced and honored, as will a number of member businesses and organizations who are being recognized for their contributions to area improvement. A community service award will also be announced.
The evening will begin with a reception at 6 p.m. Dinner and the program of the evening will follow at 7 p.m. After the awards, hypnotist Jerry Valley will perform.
Tickets, $30 each, are available at the Chamber office at 304 Main St., Rockland or from Chamber board members. Reserved tables of eight are available for those who want to sit with friends, relatives and co-workers. Non-Chamber members are welcome.
