PORTLAND – The Portland Sea Dogs’ home field will have its seating capacity increased by almost 500 by opening day, according to team officials. Plans are underway to increase Hadlock Field’s seating capacity from 5,990 to 6,477 with installation of more seats in left field. The Sea Dogs open the season April 6.

Team officials also announced Thursday the club has sold over 217,000 tickets so far for the 1995 season. Tickets can be ordered by calling 879-9500.
